It may be necessary to rearrange content once it has been uploaded to globaledit. Rearranging the assets will be visible to all users with access to the assets. Any folder or assets within a folder can be rearranged.

  • In the active preview window, select the assets that you would like to move.
  • If you're moving a folder, select for the folder from within the jobs panel.
  • Drag the assets or a folder to a new location.
  • A dialog box will appear to confirm that you want to move the assets or folder. Select Yes to move.

Moving Folders or Assets Between Jobs

In the Jobs list, click the folder or asset to be moved and drag it into another job folder. For example, in order to move a folder: Click the job you want to move and then drag it into the job folder where you want to relocate it.

A confirmation window will prompt you to confirm or cancel the move:

Moving multiple folders at once

globaledit users have the ability to multi select and move folders within their Job Library, or select multiple Lightboxes and efficiently rearrange their Lightbox panel.

Select multiple folders in a row by selecting a folder and shift clicking the top or bottom most desired folder.

To select multiple non sequential folders, select each desired folder one by one using command click or using a combination of both shift click and command click methods.
