You can customize your metadata workflow by leveraging Default Schemas and adding valuable, identifying, and related information directly in globaledit.
This feature is available via Admin > Metadata > Extend Default Schema
You can create new fields to display information that you want to have added to the Default Schema. You can also rearrange the order by which they appear when added.
You'll now be able to view and edit your new input areas whenever you view the default metadata schema. The new input areas can be found by scrolling to the bottom of the input list.
For future changes you can find all of your Extended Default Schemas in Admin > Metadata
