Globaledit streamlines the workflow between onset capture to online viewing by cross supporting several rating functions from industry programs, like Adobe and CaptureOne.
Supported Ratings:
CaptureOne - Star Ratings, Color Tags and Metadata
When shooting your images through Capture One, you can seamlessly integrate your workflow with globaledit to preserve your ratings and metadata and share with your creative production team.
Use Capture One to apply Star ratings and metadata when shooting on set.
When setting up your CaptureOne recipe, click Advanced and make sure to check the Include Ratings and Tags box. This will ensure your ratings and metadata will be included in the outputted JPGs.
When you upload these JPGs to globaledit, the Star and Color ratings will be reflected in the Library, and you can view and further edit your metadata in the Metadata Editor.
Adobe Programs (eg. Bridge, Lightroom, etc) - Star Ratings, and Specific Labels (Select, Alt, Approved)
Also, the standard practice of marking select images on set is by adding a (+) at the beginning of the filename. This typically ranges from a single (+) to five (+’s). Once the images are uploaded to globaledit, these (+) ratings are then translated automatically into Star ratings that are viewable in the image library. Now you can easily filter your selects that were made on set.
