I received an error message that the Aspera Plug-in was unable to authenticate using Port 22. What does this mean?

Phil Moy -

This can happen when a company firewall has closed TCP Port 22. If the port is closed the Aspera Connect Plug-in fasp™ technology cannot get out to connect and enable the transfer. You need to contact your IT department to open TCP port 22. If your techs need more detailed information about the Aspera Connect Plug-in and the fasp™ technology please click here and go to the Aspera Support Page
