Are you using Aspera in conjunction with globaledit?
globaledit uses Aspera to help increase speed on uploads and downloads as well as enabling the ability to upload a folder structure.
It's possible aspera did not correctly launch.
Here are a few steps to ensure globaledit and Aspera are properly communicating.
1. Quit Aspera
2. Log out of globaledit
3. Log back into globaledit with the Aspera checkbox enabled on the login screen.
If there are no issues Aspera should now launch correctly.
Sometimes IT departments block Aspera.
If this is the case logout then log back in without Aspera being enabled.
You should be able to upload and download files.
