Workspaces and folder structures are fully customizable, it's helpful to start by determining how you currently organize your projects, who needs access, when they need access, and which workspace they need access to.
To create a new workspace, click on the 3 Dot menu button to the right of “Workspaces” under the Organization & Account dropdown menu, then click New Workspace and name the workspace.

Name workspace. Up to 245 characters allowed in the workspace name.
Add Users (optional). These can be users who already have access to your Organization as well as users who have not signed up. Users who have not signed up will have to sign up in order to access the newly created workspace.
Role. Select from predefined workspace roles and custom roles that will be applied to the users invited to the new workspace.
Notes (optional). In this area, a note can be sent in the email invitation to the new users added to the workspace.

Folder Structures
Folder structure is vital for keeping your globaledit account organized. Folders live within a workspace, individual permissions and assignments are assigned per workspace.
To create a new folder, begin by selecting the stacked 3 dot action button to the right of the Workspace you would like to add a folder.

Select New Folder, add a folder name up to 245 characters, then click Create Folder.
Subfolders can be created within parent folders by navigating to the parent folder and selecting the stacked 3 dot action button to the far right of a particular folder. From there, subfolders can then be created within subfolders.
