A variety of settings can be adjusted when creating a new sync or changed for a preexisting sync.
TIP: Make sure to include Rating and Color Tag in your C1 process recipe to keep these visible within globaledit.
Excluding Duplicates
In the General tab, check the Ignore Duplicate Files box.
Duplicates does not refer to assets already in globaledit. If you use copied files in separate folders and would like to include them, please uncheck this box.
NOTE: Files with different file names can be read as a duplicate if files have an identical 'fingerprint' or hash. For more information about duplicates in sync contact support@globaledit.com
Attachments
Files with identical names can be automatically linked as separate attachments. This is helpful when including markups or multiple file types (i.e. lo-res jpegs with hi-res tifs)
Excluding File Types
Under the Settings tab choose Rules. Choose from the dropdown list or start typing to view relevant file types.
Multiple file types can be added as needed
Scheduling Syncs
Syncs can be set to schedule if you only want to upload files at specific times of day. Scheduling is helpful if you are still organizing files in a synced folder and do not want them instantly uploaded.
Select the Scheduling tab under Settings
Notifications
You can choose to receive scheduled email notifications of syncs and warnings.
Select the Notifications tab and choose from multiple timing options.
