The Globaledit mobile app is built for creatives powering brands, retailers, studios, and more! The application empowers mobile asset access, on-the-go review and annotation, push notifications, and so much more!
The mobile can be used by smart phone and tablet devices running Apple iOS or Android OS software.
Getting Started
Users can get started using the Globaledit mobile app by first heading to their iOS or Android app store on their mobile device, then searching for "Globaledit"
Open the app on your device then login by clicking the "Sign in with Google" button or enter your Email/Password then click the Sign In button.
Tip: Your user account uses the same login process on mobile as the browser.
Forgot your password? Trouble with 2FA? The Sign in with a Magic Link option located on the login page can be used for users who have forgotten their password or need to bypass the 2 factor authentication. By selecting this option, a sign in link will be sent to the users's email inbox allowing them to instantly sign into their account.
Library Access
Upon login, users will be prompted to select their Organization. Click on your Organization, then click on the Account within your Organization. Multiple Accounts can be displayed based on the user's access to them.
To navigate to your Library, click on the icon located on the bottom left of the mobile application.
Select a Workspace by clicking on the Workspace field at the top of the application.
Then select a Workspace. Based on the user's access, multiple workspaces may be visible for selection.

Sort folders within a workspace by selecting the Sort icon located in the top left of the page.
Once selected, a menu will be revealed allowing to sort by Name, Created Date, Modified Date, or Expiration Date in ascending or descending order. Users may also sort by Asset Ratings in ascending or descending order.
Select Reset to revert back to default settings.
Select Apply to finalize the sort.
Workspace folders can be viewed by List or Grid
. These options are located in the top right of the page.

Once a Workspace has been selected, navigate to the assets by selecting the principle folder or sub-folder's thumbnail that contains the images.

Interacting with Assets
Once a folder has been opened, the Mobile app offers many ways to interact with the assets.
Filter Assets
Assets within their folder can be filtered by tapping on any of the Filter attributes at the top of the page. Touch and hold onto the Filter bar, then slide to the left to reveal more Filter attributes.
Filter attributes include:

- Status
Select a status by tapping on it.
Select Reset to revert back to default settings.
Select Apply to finalize the selection.

- Label Ratings
Select a Label by tapping on it.
Select Reset to revert back to default settings.
Select Apply to finalize the selection.
Tapping on the "Anyone" next to the Label will allow the user to select a specific user(s). Once applied, only ratings made by the selected user(s) will be shown.

- Star Ratings
Select a Star Rating by tapping on it.
Select Reset to revert back to default settings.
Select Apply to finalize the selection.

- Color Label
Select a Color Label by tapping on it.
Select Reset to revert back to default settings.
Select Apply to finalize the selection.

- Includes (Attachments and/or Markup)
Select to include assets that contain Attachments and/or Markups. Both can be selected.
Select Reset to revert back to default settings.
Select Apply to finalize the selection.

- Approval Gallery Status
Select an Approval Gallery Status by tapping on it.
Select Reset to revert back to default settings.
Select Apply to finalize the selection.

- Approval Gallery Rating
Select an Approval Gallery Rating by tapping on it.
Select Reset to revert back to default settings.
Select Apply to finalize the selection.
Tapping on the "Anyone" next to the Label will allow the user to select a specific user(s). Once applied, only ratings made by the selected user(s) will be shown.

- Expired Assets
Select to leave out expired assets or show only expired assets by tapping on it.
Select Reset to revert back to default settings.
Select Apply to finalize the selection.
Filter Parameters
When setting up your filter, you can add any number of filter attributes, as well as specifying if the selected filter should meet the following requirements.

All Requirements: Assets that have all selected filter attributes will appear.

Example:
- Filter Parameters: 3 Star Rating and Blue Color Label
- Only assets that have a 3 Star Rating and a Blue Color Label applied to them will show up with this filter applied.

Any Requirements: Assets can have any of the selected filter attributes will appear.

- Filter Parameters: 5 Star Rating, Select, and Alt
- Any assets that contain a 5 Star Rating and/or have a Select and/or Alt will appear with this filter applied.

None: Assets with the selected filter attributes will not appear.

- Filter Parameters: Alt and Yellow Color Label
- Any assets with Alt and/or Yellow Color Label will not appear with this filter applied.

Sort Assets
Assets within their folder can be sorted by tapping on the Sort icon located in the top left of the page.
Once selected, a menu will be revealed allowing to sort by Name, Created Date, Modified Date, or Expiration Date in ascending or descending order. Users may also sort by Asset Ratings in ascending or descending order.
Select Reset to revert back to default settings.
Select Apply to finalize the sort.
Viewing Assets
Assets within their folder can be tailored to view by selecting either List or Grid
. These two options are located in the top right of the page.
List
Grid
View an asset in 1-up view by selecting it's thumbnail from the grid (or list) view.
Any Ratings, Comments, Markups that are made in the platform via browser are viewable in the mobile app's Tool Bar. If a user's Workspace Role has the proper permissions, these features can be selected and edited.
Tool Bar
The Asset Tool Bar can be viewed once an asset has been selected from grid view.
Labels and Ratings
Label Ratings can be selected by tapping on the icon from within the tool bar, then tapping on SELECT ALT APPROVE or KILL. The labels that have been selected will be displayed on the tool bar.
Labels that are completely highlighted in color designate a selection made by the user. Labels that are bordered in color designate a selection made by another user.
The number beside the Label tallies how many users have selected the Label.
Star Ratings can be selected by tapping on the icon from within the tool bar, then tapping on the amount of stars. The number of stars selected will be displayed on the tool bar.
To remove the Star Rating, tap on the selected rating again.
Color Labels can be selected by tapping on the icon from within the tool bar, then tap on the corresponding color. The selected color will be displayed on the tool bar.
To unselect the Color Label, tap on the gray (default) color label.
Asset Status labels can be selected by tapping on the icon from within the tool bar, then tap on the corresponding status. The color of the selected asset status will be displayed on the tool bar.
To unselect the Asset Status, tap on the No Status label.
Comment Panel
While viewing an asset up 1-up view, selecting the Comment Panel icon allows users the ability to add a comment to the asset and/or view comments added by other users.
To add a comment, tap on the text box field that reads "Add a comment" then tap on the enter button to save.
Tap on the edit icon for the ability to edit the comment.
Tap on the trash icon to delete the comment.
A prompt will appear requesting confirmation of the deletion.
Type the @ symbol within the comment text field, then select a specific user or user group to notify them of the comment.
Click on the icon that's within a comment to create a reply on the comment. Once the icon has been selected, the comment text field box will update to include "Reply:"
Tap on the icon again to deselect the Reply functionality.
Replies will appear indented underneath the parent comment.
Markup Editor
While viewing an asset up 1-up view, tap on the Markup Editor icon to open the Markup Editor and reveal the Markup Editor Tool Bar.
Markup Editor Tool Bar
Markup Layer Panel: The Layer panel allows users to organize their visual markups by anchoring them to a single layer. Furthermore, when multiple layers (along with visual markups) have been added to an asset, selecting a specific layer will hide the markups that are anchored to the other layers.

icon in the markup editor tool bar to reveal the markup layer panel. Then select + Add a layer

- An Add a layer text box will appear allowing a custom message to be entered. Tap on the enter
button to Save and finish creating the markup layer

- When adding new visual markup drawings to a new or existing layer, ensure that the layer is selected before navigating back to the markup editor tool bar. A selected layer will have an orange border on the left side of the layer.

View and/or Edit an existing markup layer by selecting the
icon in the markup editor tool bar to reveal the markup layer panel.
- Tap on the edit
icon to modify the existing text.
- While edit is open, tap on the trash
icon to remove the layer.
- Tap on the enter
button to Save the modified text
- While edit is open, tap on the trash
- Tap on the comment
icon to create a Reply on a markup layer.
- Tap on the markup status
icon to, then tap on a markup status, the tap on the Apply button to apply it to the markup layer. The markup status color label will show on the markup layer.
- Tap on the edit
Text: Add a text markup by selecting the Text tool then tap anywhere on the asset. A text box on the asset as well as text options above your device's keyboard.
- Text Options: Adjust the color, size, and style of your text markup
- Move the text box to another location by holding onto the text box, then drag it to another location on the image.
- Tap on the Trash
icon to delete the text box.
- Tap on the Save button to finish creating the markup.
Brush: Add a brush (drawing) markup by selecting the Brush tool, then use your finger or pen tool to draw the shape onto the asset.
- The brush stroke's color by default will appear grey. In order to change the color, select the Palette
tool, then select a corresponding color.
- Move the brush markup to another location by holding onto the markup, then drag it to another location on the image.
- Resize the drawing by holding onto one of its frame handles, then dragging in any direction.
- Tap on the Weight
icon to adjust the brush width.
- Tap on the Trash
icon to delete the text box.
- Tap on the Save button to finish creating(or adjusting) the markup.
Arrow: Add an Arrow markup by selecting the Arrow Tool, then use your finger or pen tool to draw the arrow onto the asset. Point to a specific spot in an image to make sure you are directing attention to a unique area.
- The arrow's color by default will appear grey. In order to change the color, select the Palette
tool, then select a corresponding color.
- Move the arrow markup to another location by holding onto the markup, then drag it to another location on the image.
- Resize the Arrow by holding onto one of its frame handles, then dragging in any direction.
- Tap on the Weight
icon to adjust the arrow width.
- Tap on the Trash
icon to delete the text box.
- Tap on the Save button to finish creating (or adjusting) the markup.
Ellipse: Add an Ellipse markup by holding the Arrow Tool, then tap on the Ellipse icon within the sub-tool bar that appears. Draw an ellipse shape by holding onto a specific area on the asset, then drag in a diagonal direction.
- The Ellipse's color by default will have a stroke color (grey) and fill color (red). These colors can be changed by selecting the Palette
tool, then select a corresponding color.
- Move the Ellipse markup to another location by holding onto the markup, then drag it to another location on the image.
- Resize the Ellipse by holding onto one of its frame handles, then dragging in any direction.
- Tap on the Weight
icon to adjust the Ellipse's line width.
- Tap on the Trash
icon to delete the text box.
- Tap on the Save button to finish creating(or adjusting) the markup.
Rectangle: Add a Rectangle markup by holding the Arrow Tool, then tap on the Rectangle icon within the sub-tool bar that appears. Draw a Rectangle shape by holding onto a specific area on the asset, then drag in a diagonal direction.
- The Rectangle's color by default will have a stroke color (grey) and fill color (red). These colors can be changed by selecting the Palette
tool, then select a corresponding color.
- Move the Rectangle markup to another location by holding onto the markup, then drag it to another location on the image.
- Resize the Rectangle by holding onto one of its frame handles, then dragging in any direction.
- Tap on the Weight
icon to adjust the Rectangle's line width.
- Tap on the Trash
icon to delete the text box.
- Tap on the Save button to finish creating(or adjusting) the markup.
Line: Add a Line markup by holding the Arrow Tool, then tap on the Line icon within the sub-tool bar that appears. Draw a Line shape by holding onto a specific area on the asset, then drag in any direction. The Line can be resized by holding onto one of the handles, then dragging in any direction.
- The Line's color by default will be grey. This color can be changed by selecting the Palette
tool, then select a corresponding color.
- Tap on the Weight
icon to adjust the Line's width.
- Move the Line markup to another location by holding onto the markup, then drag it to another location on the image.
- Tap on the Trash
icon to delete the text box.
- Tap on the Save button to finish creating(or adjusting) the markup.
Palette: Select a color for strokes and/or fill. Color can be used to quickly specify a type of markup, a certain user's markups or an type of retouching that is needed
Tip: Select your markup drawing first, then select the Palette tool to reveal options related to that specific markup type
Weight: Adjust the stroke weight of your markups, either before or after applying.
Asset Info
While viewing an asset in 1-up view, users can information related to its general specs, location, and pathways.
To access this information, select the Asset Info icon.
Collections Access
Collections that are created (owned) by the user, that that have shared with the user, or those that have been archived can be accessed in the mobile app.
Navigate to the Collections page by selecting the icon located at the bottom of the application.
Users can view specific a type of Collection(s) by tapping the "All collections" button at the top of the page.
View Collections based on these types:
My collections (Collection that have been created by the user)
Shared with me (Collections that the user has been invited into)
Archived (Collections that have been archived and are no longer active)
Collections can also be sorted by tapping on the Sort icon located in the top left of the page.

Select Reset to revert back to default settings.

View assets within a Collection by tapping on the Collection's thumbnail.
Within the Collection, users are able to interact with the assets using the same features found within the Library.

Refresh your Collection page by holding then pulling down on the screen for 2 seconds then releasing the hold. A loading icon will briefly reveal, signifying a reload is taking place.
Tip: The refresh can be activated within the All Collections page
or within an individual Collection.
Account Access
The Account gives users the ability to select their Organization, choose a different Account within their Organization, and Logout of the application.
Navigate to the Account page by selecting the icon located at the bottom of the application.
Selecting the icon to the far right of the Organization name will allow a different to be selected. The user must have access to multiple Organizations in Globaledit.
Selecting the icon to the far right of the Account name will allow a different to be selected. The user must have access to multiple Accounts within the Organization.
Logout of Mobile App
Sign out of the application by selecting the Log Out button.
