Video files can be uploaded to the platform as original assets and can be managed in the same manner as images.

Upload Video Assets
Begin the upload process by selecting the Upload button, the select Add Files.
Select your asset(s) from the Finder window, the click Open.
The asset(s) will process until the upload is completed.
Upon upload, video assets will appear with a symbol and time duration over the image on the asset card.
Please note that the play symbol is not selectable.
Double click the asset in Grid view to enter 1-Up view, or with the asset selected, click on the 1-Up view icon
Versions for Video Assets
Users can add a Version to a video asset, or Versions can be added in bulk to selected assets.
First, select the asset, then hover your cursor over the asset and right click. Next, hover your cursor over Add, then select Version.
Select the Version from the Finder window, then click Open.
Upon upload, the Version will process until the upload is completed.

Assets that contain a Version(s) can be realized by the version icon that appears on the Asset Card in Grid View. The icon is notified by a number that appears within a box.
Once a version is uploaded, it appears on top of the original asset, becoming the latest asset in the stack.
When viewing the video in 1up View, you can access each version via the Film Strip.
Select the Version # to open the stack to reveal other versions and the original asset. By default, the most recent version is selected. Select a different asset to view it.
When viewing the video, you can also access each version via the dropdown menu in the top left corner of the screen. Creation and Modify timestamps are visible for each version separately.
Select the dropdown arrow next to Actions to Make Latest a previous Version or Download the asset.
You can also choose which versions you’d like to compare in 2up View by selecting the checkbox, then click the Compare button that illuminates in orange.
While in 2up View:
Select the lock icon to keep both videos in sync during playback. Deselect this icon to play each video independently.
The orange border that appears around one of the assets in 2up view allows the user to switch to a different asset to view. While the asset is highlighted, select a different asset from the film strip.
NOTE: To display the preview of the latest version, the video must be less than 2GBs.
Delete Versions
Versions can be deleted by following these steps:
In 1up view, open the version stack via the film strip.
Next, select a version that is not the the most recently uploaded version, then right click the asset, and select Make Latest from the menu.
Confirm you are choosing to make the previous version the latest.
The previous asset will then be restored (copied) and placed as the most recent (latest) asset within the stack.
Select the Version to be deleted, then right click over the version, then select Delete.
Confirm you are choosing the delete the Version.
Video Markups
Markups on Video assets are placed within its timeline as timestamped comments and visual drawings. All markups on the video asset will display as markup layers in the left panel with links to the timestamp of each.
Creating a video markup
Access the Markup Editor by selecting the icon within the 1up tool bar.
Select at the bottom of the comment layer panel while a video is playing or paused, write your comment in the dialogue box.
The Comment Layer can include:
@ mentioning another user or user group
Markup Status [No Status, To Do, In Progress, Finished, Rejected, Unclear]
Next, add a visual markup to the video frame by using the markup tool panel located on the left side of the page, then select Save.
Once a markup comment has been created and saved, an icon will appear on the timeline to represent it. The icon will appear with the profile initial of the user who created it along with a colored outline representing the markup status.
Markup Comment Layers can be deleted only by their creators by selecting the trash icon on the comment layer.
Once selected, click Delete within the prompt box to finalize. This action will also delete the visual markups the layer is associated with.
Markup Comment Layers can be edited only by their creators by selecting the edit icon on the comment layer. Edit will reactivate the comment layer text field allowing the user to edit the text. Click Save to confirm the changes or Cancel to revert back.
Select Reply to respond to a comment layer. The Reply field automatically @ mentions the user whom's comment is being replied to.
Filter on the Status or Sort your Markup layers by using the icons at the top of the layer panel:
Markup layers can also be downloaded directly as Photoshop layers by using the globaledit Adobe Photoshop Plugin
Please note that Video Markups are viewed in browser and cannot be downloaded.
Video Playback Speed and Quality
Video clip preview and playback can be viewed with the asset in the 1up viewer. The option to play videos clips are available at various speeds: .5x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 4x. The video player will default to 1x and can easily be changed using the dropdown menu.

Similarly within the 1up video clip preview, there are various video quality settings, as well: Auto, 240p, 360p, 480p, 720p and 1080p. The quality is set to Auto by default each time the video asset is opened. The option to change the speed is within the dropdown menu.

Supported File Types
Supported formats include:
- .MOV
- .MP4
- .MXF
- H264
If your file has one of the above extensions, previews will be generated. Metadata can be stamped upon export for an Original Asset download.
